Connections are important.

I believe part of the issue in today's world is that people feel disconnected and aren't sure how to reconnect.

I'd like to help with that.

I enjoy connecting people, connecting people to resources, connecting pieces of information to create a larger picture, and helping people figure out how to reconnect.

I've had a journey to get where I am today that included three states, five or six careers, and a lot of training. I pull from my experiences and knowledge to help others. My theoretical orientation is a combination of Feminism (looking at the larger picture for things that might affect the individual or the couple - gender roles, gender expecations, societal expectations, etc) and Solution-Focused (focusing on helping the issue right now and being open to trying a variety of options). In practice, I'm a bit direct, can be challenging, like giving homework, and enjoy working with my clients to help work towards the outcome that they are seeking. Strong vocabulary doesn't offend me, racism, bigotry, and misogyny does.
